CBI conduct searches at 10 residential & official locations in Rajasthan.

The Central Bureau of Investigation today conducted searches at ten residential and official locations in Rajasthan in a case related to illegal sand mining. During the search operation, incriminating documents were recovered. The CBI had re-registered the case following an order from the Rajasthan High Court. The FIR was registered against a person for transporting sand without any valid permit. The investigation into the case is ongoing.

The raids were carried out at the residential and official premises of some people suspected of involvement in the case, covering areas in Jaipur, Tonk, Ajmer and Bhilwara. During the searches, the CBI recovered incriminating documents related to illegal sand mining operations.

The CBI officials seized more than Rs 20 lakh and a country-made pistol during its searches at different places including Jaipur, Tonk, Jodhpur, Nagaur, Bhilwara, Karoli and Sikar districts in Rajasthan in connection with a case linked to illegal sand mining in the state.
