Maharashtra CM assures fast-track trial in NCP leader Baba Siddique’s murder case.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has assured that the trial for the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique will be conducted in a fast-track court. Speaking to reporters in Mumbai, he asserted that no individual found guilty will be spared.

Meanwhile, the Mumbai police have arrested the third accused in this case, Pravin Lonkar, who was apprehended in Mumbai yesterday and presented before the court today.

He has been remanded in police custody until the 21st of this month. Pravin Lonkar’s brother, Shubham, is currently absconding, and they are suspected to be the masterminds behind Baba Siddique’s murder.

A person using the username Shubbu Lonkar made a post from his account claiming that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has taken responsibility for Siddique’s murder. The post also mentioned the Dawood Ibrahim gang. The police investigation revealed that the account belongs to Shubham Lonkar, who authored the post.
