Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) has decided to contest Jharkhand Assembly Elections with NDA. Talking to reporters in Ranchi, Founder of the Party and Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said the party is identifying seats to contest elections.

Mr. Manjhi said a meeting under the chairmanship of President of the Party Santosh Kumar Suman will be held to chalk out seat-sharing formula with NDA allies. Union Minister Mr. Manjhi said people of Jharkhand are annoyed with the Hemant Soren government.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Hemant Soren alleged that the BJP was unable to digest the development works undertaken by the JMM-led government in Jharkhand.

Jitan Ram Manjhi said that our party works for the poor. Most of the labourers migrate from Bihar and Jharkhand. At the time of elections, such people do not come back to vote, which causes us loss. Therefore, they should be given the facility to vote wherever they are.

He said that today the number of small and micro industries in the country is 6 crore. This will be improved in the future. Regarding the budget, he said that the central government has given a good budget to Bihar.
