IMD forecasts cold day to severe cold day conditions over northwest India.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts cold day to severe cold day conditions is likely to reduce over northwest India from today. It said, dense fog conditions are likely to continue to prevail during morning hours in isolated pockets of northwest India during the next 4 to 5 days.

IMD forecasts light to moderate rainfall at some places over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Coastal Karnataka, and Lakshadweep during the next two days and dry weather thereafter. The weather office said, cold day conditions occurred at a few places over Delhi and isolated pockets over Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand today.

IMD has also predicted a fall of minimum temperatures by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius over many parts of Central and East India during the next 3 to 4 days. The weather department forecasts no cold wave conditions are likely to occur over the country during the next 5 days.
