Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Rajasthan Royals by seven runs at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday.
Chasing a target of 190 runs Rajasthan Royals could score just 182 runs in the stipulated 20 overs and fell off the target by seven runs. Devdutt Padikkal top-scored for the team with 52 runs while Yashasvi Jaiswal made 47.
Earlier put into bat, Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 189 runs for the loss of nine wickets with power-packed half-centuries from Glenn Maxwell and Faf du Plessis. While Maxwell scored 77 off 44 balls, Faf du Plessis contributed 62 off 39 balls.
The other match of the evening between Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings at Eden Gardens, is underway. Kolkata Knight Riders have won the toss and opted to bowl.
Chennai Super Kings were 143 for 2 in 14 overs when the reports last came in.
