Newly elected Congress MLAs in Himachal to meet today in Shimla to elect leader

The newly elected Congress MLAs in Himachal Pradesh will meet today in Shimla. The meeting is likely to pass a resolution authorizing the Congress President to elect the leader of the Congress Legislature Party.

The meeting will be chaired by Bhupesh Baghel and Bhupendra Singh Hooda. Himachal Congress in-charge Rajeev Shukla and co-in-charge will also be present on this occasion.

The Congress is now facing the challenge of electing a new chief minister among many claimants for the post.
