Nagaland becomes coronavirus-free State

Nagaland has become a coronavirus-free state, after the lone active Covid patient from Dimapur district recovered from the disease yesterday. The state lodged zero active case yesterday as no new COVID- 19 case was recorded out the 17 sample tests received. The caseload remained at 35,488, while altogether 33,244 people have so far recovered from the disease.

In addition, over 16.16 lakh doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in the state till yesterday. This include the administering of over 14 lakh doses to the healthcare care workers, frontline workers, 18 to 44 years and 45 year & above, while 28,526 received precaution dose, 1,01, 518 doses vaccinated under the category of 14 to 18 years and 13,228 vaccinated to 12 to 14 years children.
